Our cost effective presence detector (P-TECH) fits a wide variety of universal rail applications. Designed to handle loop sizes from 20 feet to over 100 feet, the P-TECH features four selectable frequencies, with options available for expansion up to 12.
The P-TECH is engineered as a fail-safe system that indicates presence when a car is in the detection zone. In the event of a power loss or a fault on the detector the default mode is activated.
Several configurations are available: a small metal enclosure, a large plastic enclosure and a modular plate design to fit in the Harmon PD2500 enclosure. Two additional options are available for loss of power situations: a resettable relay that will require a manual reset or a capacitor backup that will keep the circuit open until a backup generator is activated.
